Taman Mini "Indonesia Indah" (TMII) adalah satu proyek untuk mencitrakan Indonesia yang lengkap
dengan segala isinya dalam bentuk mini, berupa sebuah taman diatas sebidang tanah yang menggambarkan
Indonesia yang besar kedalam penampilan yang kecil.
Taman ini dapat dikatakan sebagai "Taman Budaya Nasional", karena di tempat ini diperkenalkan, dilestarikan dan dikembangkan berbagai aspek budaya Indonesia.
Sebagai wahana wisata yang menarik, TMII memiliki berbagai Museum antara lain Museum Indonesia,
Museum Pusaka, Museum Asmat, Museum Transportasi, Museum Listrik dan Energi Baru, Museum Komodo, Museum Serangga, Museum Keprajuritan, dan Museum Prangko.
Taman-taman seperti : Taman Burung, Taman Bunga Keong Emas, Taman Apotik Hidup, Taman Reptil,
Taman Melati, Taman Bekisar, Taman Budaya Tionghoa, Taman Anggrek Indonesia Permai, Taman Konservasi dan Taman Akuarium Air Tawar.

Taman Mini "Indonesia Indah" (TMII) is a project to create a complete image of Indonesia with everything
it contained in miniature, in the form of a park on a piece of land picturing huge Indonesia in a small scale.
This park can be said as the "National Cultural Park" because it is in this place that various cultural aspects of Indonesia are introduced, preserved and developed.
As an interesting tourism object, TMII possesses various Museums among others the Indonesian Museum, the Heirloom Museum, the Asmat Museum, the Transportation Museum, the Power and Energy Museum,
the Komodo Museum, the Insect Museum, the Indonesia Soldiery Museum and the Philately Museum.
